How Scarf Swap Works
To get your $100. rebate you have to spend half an hour with another participant – one you don’t know. This can be at the Scarf Swap Party – Sunday, December 18, 2-5 p.m. at my house, or at another convenient time. You’ll write a short report on your conversation and I’d like to get a photograph.
1. Choose your scarf
2. Pay $150. plus tax – check preferred, or I can do PayPal
3. I’ll hold your check
4. Give me your contact information
5. I’ll make your scarf in the next week or so
6. I’ll send you a list of participants
7. You tell me who on the list you don’t know
8. I’ll pair you with someone
9. You decide when and where to meet
10. If possible, I’ll give you each others' scarves – first
11. Get to know each other
12. I’d like to take a photo. If not, take one and send it.
13. Tell me what you talked about – use the form
14. Write me a new check for $50. plus tax
15. I’ll return the first check
16. I’ll post conversations and photos on the blog
